Buying a painting should feel personal, not like checking out a shopping cart. Here's how it works.
Found a work that moves you? Click "Enquire" on its page or write to hello@krausekai.de. Ask anything – about the painting, how big it will look on your wall, or how it was made.
You'll receive an offer with the final price, including packaging and shipping to your address. All prices are final prices including statutory VAT.
Pay by bank transfer or PayPal. Once your payment has arrived, the painting is reserved for you and gets ready to travel.
Within Germany: 3–5 working days after payment
Within the EU: 5–7 working days after payment
Outside the EU: on request. Customs duties and import taxes may apply and are paid by the buyer.
Pickup: You're welcome to collect your painting from my studio in Magdeburg.
Shipping costs depend on the size of the painting and are stated in your offer.
Every painting is packed and shipped by hand. Works travel on their stretcher frame or in a shadow gap frame. For some destinations, large works can't be shipped framed – in that case I carefully take the canvas off the stretcher, roll it and send it in a sturdy tube. I'll let you know beforehand if that applies to your painting.
Try it at home – By arrangement, I'll bring the painting to you. Live with it for a few days, then decide.
Visit the studio – See the originals up close at duk Galerie in Magdeburg.
As a private buyer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the painting. All details are in the cancellation policy.
